CAILO exists to close a gap.

Modern vehicles generate rich, real-time data, and Tesla’s Fleet API makes it available. Turning that stream into a record people can actually use is specialist work, and that is the part we knew we could take on.

So we built the bridge we wished existed.

Our Story

Born From a Simple Frustration

Founded in Australia in 2026, CAILO started with two Tesla owners and two very different problems.

One of us wanted an automatic logbook for work travel. The options we looked at meant either fitting an aftermarket device or classifying every trip by hand. Neither appealed. So we did it the old way. A paper logbook. In a Tesla. In 2026.

The other was building fleet management solutions for clients and kept seeing the same opportunity: Tesla has a rich stream of vehicle data through its Fleet API, and bringing that stream into an established fleet platform was a specialist piece of integration work that nobody had packaged yet.

The pattern was hard to ignore. Tesla generates an extraordinary amount of telemetry. Putting it to work inside everyday tools still took specialist effort. So we built CAILO Connect. The product we wished existed. Just your Tesla, keeping its own records. Automatically and effortlessly.

  • Receipt files encrypted before they’re stored

Your Data, Your Call

Take it with you, or have it deleted. We tell you before anything happens.

  • Download everything, receipt images included
  • Delete your account yourself, with a window to change your mind
  • Data kept for a year after a subscription ends

With decades of building businesses from scratch, this founder believes strong strategies and great products are built one iteration, and one delighted customer, at a time. Drives a Model Y that easily accommodates her Canyon Aeroad bike in the back, and uses CAILO Connect as a sole trader.

Engineering & Architecture

A career spent in telemetry, fleet management, vehicle asset tracking, and satellite tracking, with industry recognition along the way. Knows exactly what it takes to turn vehicle data into records people can trust, and how to make it feel effortless. Drives a Model Y L mostly in FSD mode so that he can geek out on the data. Uses CAILO Connect because data brings him joy.
